Documentation, it tells you what went wrong:
The LI Means, that lilo was able to load the second =
stage loader, but
could not execute it. The 04 then tells us: Sector =
not found, probably
occuring from a geometry mismatch from what lilo =
thinks the Harddisk has,
and what the BIOS tells lilo the harddisk has.
The Fix is simple. Either you add the linear Option to =
your
lilo-configuratio, or, start lilo using the =
"-l" option, or, easyer that
one, go into your Bios, and change the Harddisk =
setting from LBA to Large
or anything else and try booting then until lilo =
finds the right geometry.
