Witam Szanownych Grupowiczów
Sciagnalem sobie z LinuxPackages najnowszego MySQLa i zainstalowalem:
installpkg mysql.tgz
Installing package mysql.tgz (Priority: [unknown])...
PACKAGE DESCRIPTION:

Installing all prepared tables

PLEASE REMEMBER TO SET A PASSWORD FOR THE MySQL root USER !
This is done with:
/usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root -p password 'new-password'
/usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root -h marusz -p password 'new-password'
See the manual for more instructions.
NOTE: If you are upgrading from a MySQL <= 3.22.10 you should run
the /usr/bin/mysql_fix_privilege_tables. Otherwise you will not be
able to use the new GRANT command!
Please report any problems with the /usr/bin/mysqlbug script!

Wpisalem wiec:
/usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root -p password 'new-password'
Wyskoczylo mi:
Enter password: (tu wpisalem dajmy na to rzodkiewka)
i wyskoczyl mi komunikat:
/usr/bin/mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed
error: 'Access denied for user: 'root_at_localhost' (Using password: YES)'
Kiedy wpisuje:
ps aux | grep mysqld
to mam:
mysql 952 0.0 5.3 12244 1640 pts/1 S 18:19 0:00 /usr/sbin/mysqld
mysql 954 0.0 5.3 12244 1640 pts/1 S 18:19 0:00 /usr/sbin/mysqld
mysql 955 0.0 5.3 12244 1640 pts/1 S 18:19 0:00 /usr/sbin/mysqld
Czyli zyje.
Gdzie popelniam blad? :((( Nie moge sobie z tym poradzic od jakiegos juz czasu. Bardzo bym prosil o pomoc.
